a few scams in the philippines

Ehh figures i would post a few scams/tricks that ive seen or experienced living here in the last ten years.

1. Sir you dropped your money: Ignore them, if you absolutely must check or lean over to pick up the dropped money make sure to secure all your belongings. They drop the money when you pick it up they steal your phone or wallet or anything of value.

2. Makati ave/ Burgos Circle. The girls that walk these streets are there for 1 of 3 possible reason. They are working with the police to extort you. They fail the STD test every wednesday required to be hookers at bars. They are not girls and have a penis tucked between their legs.

3. Airport: Do not take the the yellow taxi. Their meters are not regulated, they take the longest way possible, demand a tip when you get off. Your better off with the fixed rate cabs OUTSIDE the airport with posted prices per city on a sign. The fixed rate offers that wait inside the arrival area work illegally with the airport security to rip you off for as much as they can get you for.

4. Friendly poker game: In Makati, Pampanga, paranaque, and Pasig there are a bunch of popular foreigner hangouts. The scam works like this. An extremely friendly guy approaches you, tells you about nice places and what to avoid. He warns you about scams in the philippines. He buys you drinks and offers you girls. Appears to be wealthy. They speak both english and tagalog fluently. Then they invite you to a friendly poker game. This is usually controlled by the Indian mafia and the local police. Do not go. If you somehow end up at this friendly poker game you need to lose all your money as soon as possible and leave. You will not be allowed to leave without losing all of your money. Do not be boastful or brag about your wealth or they will get the police involved and clean out all your credit cards and bank accounts extorting you and your family for everything you own. Probably end up dead.

5. Do you speak english?: Usually a half foreign half filipino that approaches you. (Their mother was a filipina prostitute) They will ask if you speak english. Tell you a sad story involving losing their car and then ask for money to take a cab to an embassy. This scam started out in pasay until facebook users took their pictures and exposed them. It was so successful that a Ukranian group started copying the filipino scammers. They are currently operating in greenbelt, makati. ive been approached many times this week.

a bunch more scams out there i cant think of right now. These are just a few that target us non-filipinos or as they say in the most offensive way possible "foreigners" Hope this information is useful. Have a nice day guys

Well it's kind of goofy. If they're 12 and you're under 18 it's just peachy. So that's another dumb thing. I think it should just be a no go till both of them are 18. Welcome to hell.

Well how about agnostic. I just don't believe in anything. No religious anything. Without religion we could do so much more but here we are stuck with people who want to believe in an invisible Man in the sky and hope that when fire comes from the sky his son of a virgin will come back and battle the fire from the sky. If you take a step back and realize that religion has it's own country that's kind of dumb. Religion is really dumb and it's a setback. If we didn't have people worshipping false idols all the time and blessing every fucking thing every minute then we might be in space right now or living on the moon. Oh my bad am I wiping my ass with the great book written by man which leaves out all of those not so important parts because they said so? Well that's kind of dumb. I don't believe in the invisible Man in the sky and I'm very sure he doesn't exist. If he came down and said hey everyone I'm god and I do super seriously exist then I'd be like ok he did float down from nothingness and he does obviously have the power to do stuff. Since that's never happened, as in the supreme being coming to earth. Oh I forgot he doesn't have to because this is a big test and we're all retarded. The Earth, our planet has existed for millions of years and we came from nothingness, not a supreme being playing with the outcome of our lives. I can prove that my laptop and cellphone exist. Can you prove to me that a higher power exists, has existed or will exist in the near future? Believing in something our ancestors ancestors ancestors believed in because they couldn't explain how the world works is really imbecilic and it isn't worth it seems anyone's time yet lots of people waste their time with all this ancient crap. We have science to explain all of these things. While we're at it let's tell women to jump in the shower so they won't get pregnant after having sex. I mean come on man religion? Really. Religion is the biggest joke ever especially living here. India v2.105Well how about agnostic. I just don't believe in anything. No religious anything. The age of consent is 12 if you're not older than 18. If you're 18 or older than you done messed up and you going where you going. It's obvious that most people aren't aware of the rules and they don't care or mind that rules even exist. The rules exist that say you shouldn't sleep in an adult way with someone who's 12 because they're kind of retarded and they don't really understand what's going on with agreeing to things and what that all means. A 18 year old would have a better grasp of how things work with their body and all that. I believe that's why everyone at least most countries said yeah ok 18 sounds good to us. In the states the least 16 and as we can see here our friends south of the border have the same values for fucking children as Filipinos which is disturbing. Thems is real cuntrys. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/...ent_in_North_AmericaThe age of consent is 12 if you're not older than 18. Those kids that beg for money in groups and carry flower necklaces and what not, you know how they love to walk behind you when you ignore them? they are trying to pick your back pocket, make sure you show them you know whats up by telling them to bug off of stopping in your tracks to let them pass you. I like to give them an extra present if theres a security guard nearby and tell him the kids tried to pick pocket me. half the time they pick up the kids and call the barangay to take them to a PNP outpost. Those kids that beg for money in groups and carry flower necklaces and what not, you know how they love to walk behind you when you ignore them? they are trying to pick your back pocket, make sure you...See more

COMMON FILIPINO SCAMS 1) Landlord or maid will rob you. Maids will steal your key and then duplicate it and enter to steal. At this point your house can become your deathtrap. 2) If you go with prostitutes they will try to get your credit card and use a skimmer. 3) Generally with underage girls a 17 year old sets something up with a cop (They've been prostitutes for years by that age) and they share the payoff 4) some cops will arrest you with no charges at all.COMMON FILIPINO SCAMS 1) Landlord or maid will rob you. I agree, Manila is the most dangerous place in the Philippines. In fact, there are cases of people being robbed in front of the airport.

How bad is the filipino delusion about their country? Well my daughter has decided that they will not visit because of the EJKs and other crimes. When I told wife this she said the country is perfectly safe for them. Yes, this is the same woman who always tells me how bad most filipinos are, forgot about our armed security out front and how a pinay tried to burn our house down last January.
