Shameless Filth With Food For Sale

Feb 20 | By CaptainPFB | Views: 1633 | Comments: 39
We see this all the time in Philippines. Piles of fried chicken and other street foods sitting for god know how long, coagulating and growing bacteria, waiting for some dumb-ass to come buy some filthy food.

And they make no secret of where and how it was cooked. You can see the disgusting filth pit it was cooked in. Yet the Pinoy doesn't seem to care.

I mean look at that! Would you eat here? They make you look at filth hole where they cook the food. It's disgusting!

When this pic was taken, it was like 4pm. I'm sure it has been sitting in that case for hours since lunch time. And they are going to charge you money to eat it! I wouldn't eat it if THEY paid ME!

It amazes me how they can even be allowed to sell that to the public. This is why Philippines will never progress.

Some might recall that I went to a Party friend's house at Christmas, and returned with Food Poisoning! Well, another Party happened on Sunday! - Buffet laid out in the Dining Room (Cooked in the morning, and was Stone Cold!) I gave it a miss! - This morning I had a call from the Host asking if I was 'OK?' - Four People went down with Food Poisoning at the Party, and he wonders why???Some might recall that I went to a Party friend's house at Christmas, and returned with Food Poisoning! DD, look at the bright side of food poisoning though. I mean this is the only country that when you get the squirts and throwing up at the same time where you can sit on the shitter, throw up in the shower drain and take a shower at the same time.

That's why I'm always armed with Lomotil (for the runs) and Maxolon (for nausea/vomiting every time I travel to PI! Never go there without my gastrointestinal first aid kit!

WHY do they cook all day at xmas and new years and end up with a table full of cold frigging food. Take pics and post on facebook, too. The basic premis of cooking is to have it hot at the same time. Of course, NEVER give, donate, (free) any food to the neighbors because free is an unknown word here. So it sits for 3 days, EWWWWWW. Nothing worse than cold spagetti, fish, pancit canton or what ever the fuck they call it.WHY do they cook all day at xmas and new years and end up with a table full of cold frigging food. @ Sarafin Imodium (Generic: Loperamide), Rehydration Sachets (Neolyte or Rehydrat), AND 'Lavatory Stationery' are ALWAYS in my Travel Bag and the Medicine Chest at home!

The incident at Christmas was down to undercooked 'Mussels!' I remained unaffected until I got home. Then, I began to feel Nauseous, Stood-up and promptly 'Passed-Out!' A few minutes later, the 'Emergency Evacuation' began (Both Ends), accompanied by a Splitting Headache! I am particularly susceptible, as my Internal Plumbing was ‘Rearranged’ a few years ago!

Last weekend, I watched the 'Barbecue Boy' at my friend's house! - Chicken, Pork (Fat), Fish, Squid, Prawns and Mussels all on the same plate (Cooked and Uncooked), So I decided ‘Not a Good Idea!’ – And stuck to my ‘Kapitan and Mighty Supper!’

At home (Which is also the Office), the Kitchen, Refrigerators, Freezer, Microwave, Oven and Hob are kept like an Operating Theatre! Nothing Frozen is ever bought from Shops or Supermarkets (Some have the Habit of turning-off the Freezers at night!). Meat, Fish and Poultry are always bought ‘Fresh’ from the Farm Shop or Fishmonger. Again, Supermarkets will Freeze Meat and Poultry, Let it Thaw on Display, and then Re-Freeze it at the end of the day! Rice is Pre-Packed ‘Imported’ as it is free from Rat Urine and Cockroach Shit (Unlike Local Stores!) HOT Water is also used for Washing-Up! – And Woe Betide anyone on Cooking Duty who does not follow the rules!

We live in a ‘Tropical Climate,’ yet Food Hygiene is LOW on the List of Priorities and there is very little Enforcement! Most should be Common Sense! – But that is another commodity that is lacking! Yes, my arrangements ‘Carry a Cost’ but a Cost that is far less than having everyone ‘Sick’ for several days!
