Hi all, this is my first post on PFB. I've been a lurker for quite some time now and I love every article this website puts out because almost all of them are the same shit I go through in the Failippines. Anyway, I want to vent something out with this piece of shit College Institute known as STI College.

I don't know what it is with this damn fucking College, but why is it so common for this school to be hiring graduates from their own school to become professors at the same College? Half the time, these dumb fuck Filipinos barely know anything about the field they are taking, let alone know how to disicipline the students. Pathetic really.

When it comes to Thesis, which I am currently taking. These dumb fucks raise their standards so high that even a single problem with your system will result in failure. I've even heard stories from former students that these so call "Thesis Advisors" tend to change shit around as they please. Like, this group wanted to make a nice single player game for Android and iOS. You know what their dumb Thesis advsior told them? Add online functionality to the game. WTF? Another group who also made a game were told from another Prof that the game has to be "educational". Why the fuck are you limiting the student's creativity? Of course, games that involve sex shouldn't be permitted, which is understandable.

I've been into computers since I was a kid and I only got into programming when I started College. Java and C# being the first two langauges I picked up. Outside of that, I picked up Python + Django, a little bit of C++ and HTML/CSS. C# is the language that I stuck with and even to this day, I haven't gotten to the deep parts of the language, but I am still learning as I go on.

I get it that by the time you are in 4th year, you are expected to at least make decent programs. But how can you expect most students to succeed, when half of the curriculum is horribly designed. 1-2 is mostly Java, C#, Assembly, and MySQL. 3-4, you learn HTML/CSS/PHP/Javascript. Then you have useless subjects like Filipino, JP Rizal, World Literature, Drugs and Rehab. All of these should already been taught in High School. And for first timers such as myself who got into programming, it's fucking overwhelming to learn all these languages all at the same time.

These fucking dumb fuck advisors and panelists should stop expecting full blown systems or games. With only 4 group members max and 1 year timeline for completion, you can't expect them to provide you a full blown functional system at a professional level. Also, they also don't want students to be using Bootstrap if they decided to go with a website. Citing "copy and paste" being the prominent issue. Bullshit. Its called being efficient at the project by getting things done quicker.

Lastly, this fucking school claims they have the state of the art facilities and equipment. If running pirated copies of Windows is state of the art, I don't know what is. And the because the Failippines has tropical weather all year round, these fucking goons decided to cut corners when constructing this school by not putting air conditioners in the hallways. So basically, everybody in the hallway is sweating like hell.

Overall, fuck STI College and all their branches. 1 more year until I get out of this shithole of a College. I rather fucking listen to foreign companies or developers than the stupid Filipino "advisors" whom are only there to brag about their shit skills.
