Thank you.

Stop calling me valued. If it’s an emergency, why not do it IMMEDIATELY? Or if it is going to be scheduled, why not do it when the least people will be affected – say 11pm to 6am? Your email makes no sense! To say you apologise for any inconvenience is ludicrous, you are doing this when the most possible people can be inconvenienced. Thanks for telling me, So we can all watch channel 2!

I have a passport with 4.5 months validity left. a regular rule is six months validity. so my wife goes to Philippine immigration and asks for an exemption letter.
BUT,, the officer in charge says” he needs a letter from my embassy guaranteeing that I will be given a new passport!!!!!!!!!
So, the main thrust of his request is,,,,,, I AM TOO LAZY AND/OR DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOUR PROBLEM.
OR…. I really don’t care about a kano getting stuck in no man’s land in Manila airport.
That Singapore blog that got blocked is too kind to these (whatever)
Has anyone else ever been in my situation??? are they real sticky about the 6 month validity rules????
      thanks for any advise.

Hey Al. I can’t really help you as I have never faced that problem but I am aware of what you are referring to. I have often wondered about that. I can see that rule being applied if you are leaving your home country and traveling to a foreign country but it doesn’t make sense why you would have to have a visa valid for 6 months if you are traveling back to the country you are a citizen in because once you get there you can renew your passport there. I did renew my passport here thru the U.S. Embassy. It wasn’t really that hard to do. Took about a month.

sorry I got you all mixed up, I have a passport that is good to the middle of November,,,, so if I enter the Philippines in july , the validity of the passport is only 4 and 1/2 months.
there is a rule that states you should travel with a passport of not less than 6 months validity…but this is at the discretion of the immigration officer. I come from north American country.
now it takes 20 working days for a passport application.. used to take 5 days and 20 bucks
sorry for getting u mixed up

We have decided to not show the movie in the Philippines due to fears that it would not be up-to-par with Filipino’s standards in film quality,” said Jon Arbuckle of Columbia Pictures. I just about puked when I read this crap
Arbuckle confirmed that the decision to cancel the screening was due to Kris Aquino bragging to Andrew Garfield about her son, Bimby, beating his first ‘Spider-Man’ film in the Philippines in terms of earnings.
Can this place called Philippines get anymore stupid????????/
    Copied from the internet.

She bragged to Garfield that the movie of her son, “My Little Bossings,” beat The Amazing Spider-Man 1 in the box-office in the Philippines. It was neither here nor there. The two movies were not shown at the same time. The gall to compare a Spiderman movie to the inane My Little Bossings. It’s like comparing a painting by Ben Cab to a tarpaulin streamer.
What can Garfield say but “Fantastic… Well, congratulations.”

…and I’m sure Mr. Garfield was thinking “Who the fuck is this bitch?”

a basic human trait found all over the world is ;;a person needs a certain amount of mental , physical and mental space”.
but not here in the failappines. they even stack dead bodies on top of each other, and crowds of people live in cementaries,,
It just seems a flip will intrude onto your breathing, living space and make your day miserable by his presence.
    is his just me?????????????
