CashCashPinoy – Read A Book!

A friend of mine was in the USA on a trip but wanted to take advantage of the “Exclusive Sofitel Manila Dining Experience!” offer on but of course they were having problems with their online ordering so she asked me to try.  I did.  Then they cancelled my order.  Why? Because I didn’t reply to their request for verification of my information.  One problem.  I NEVER got this request for verification.  I tried to handle this w/ their moron customer service department.  But since they’re too f’ing stupid or lazy to even READ my correspondence with them I’ve given up.   I kept my friend in the cc loop on all this and in her own words “yeah I saw that I’m so pissed now they can go eat a dick”.

Wise words Shey!  But I figured why not shame them properly here and over on the site I’ve been guest posting on.  So first you have to watch this video:


Yeah, READ fuckers.  As in READ what I’m emailing you!  2 days after I placed my order I get an email w/ subject “Request received: Payment Verification – Exclusive Sofitel Manila Dining Experience (ticket #17417)”.  The email says:

Thank you for writing to CashCashPinoy about Payment Verification – Exclusive Sofitel Manila Dining Experience.

Your request (#17417) has been received and will be reviewed by our support staff.

We strive to answer your all email requests within 48 hours upon receipt.

So of course I reply back the only thing that makes sense:

I didn’t send a request, heh.

I did go to their support site like they suggested using the link they provided, created an account, and surprise. No support tickets found.  2 days later I get another reply with the subject line of “Request #17417: How would you rate the support you received?”.  Pretty piss-poor. Good thing I read the email b/c instead of being what looked like a “rate our service” email it was actually a response to my email:

This was of course getting ridiculous so I replied back:

Wait, what?!?!  Look, I NEVER was notified ANYTHING about a verification process.  The first email I got was just that there was a support ticket opened.  I logged into the site and looked at my tickets and NOTHING was listed.  How the hell can I provide documents YOU NEVER ASKED FOR!?!?!

And here’s my reply I got to that today:

Do you actually know how to read? I WAS NOT following up on the status of the “reversal status”. I was TRYING to help you understand that you have a HUGE BUG IN YOUR SYSTEM. You people said since you didn’t hear back on your request to verify my information you cancelled my order. One problem I’ve been telling you about OVER AND OVER:


So you’re cancelling my order for no reason.

Great to know the offer has been extended! Now I can go order it again, you will again FAIL TO SEND ANYTHING requesting verification, and cancel my order again. What a GREAT DEAL.

Look, I know you’re probably the typical agent who doesn’t give a shit about your job, are just showing up to do the minimum to get paid so your parents don’t give you a hard time for not having a job.

But just once, for shits and giggles try USING that thing between your ears. You could very well identify a huge problem that is causing your company a LOT of lost sales. READ the history on this ticket and it will be OBVIOUS to anyone smarter than a trained MONKEY what is going on.

Seriously, it’s obvious their setup to use ZenDesk (web-based customer support package) is  totally borked.  Who knows HOW MANY orders they’ve cancelled for no good reason. But do the people answering customer support emails give a shit? NO. They don’t even read the replies from customers.  TYPICAL.

Classy guys!  So yeah save your money and your time, don’t ever bother doing any business with  They’re too fucking stupid and lazy to even properly process your order.  They’ll just cancel it and fail to read your emails when you try and fix THEIR mistake.

    I can honestly say that this sort of thing happens ALL THE FUCKING TIME WITH ANY ONLINE TRANSACTIONS OR COMMUNICATIONS with idiot Filipinos. Online banking is a fucking nightmare!! 70% of the time, their online banking DOESN’T FUCKING WORK!!!

      Sometimes in person banking doesn’t work too well either. I like to have coins, especially the fives and tens (cinqo and sampo respectively I believe). One bank near me won’t hand out coins for withdrawal. LOL. So I had to open an account in another bank just so I could get coins.

    This is how I started my email of today (one of MANY) to the mental retards who work at the PLDT sheltered workshop. PLDT calls it their customer support department;

    “You clearly haven’t been reading my emails, you are simply too stupid to understand what has been said in them, or you are choosing to ignore me.”

    I could start almost EVERY email response to a Pinoy company with that sentence. Regrettably, I know exactly how much difference it’s going to make – FUCK ALL!!!

    The retarded piece of air-thieving fucking shit on the receiving end of the email will do NOTHING. It’s a wonder these sacks of shit can cross the street by themselves. I’m almost certain that they have to pass an illiteracy test before they can get a fucking job, and that needs to backed up with an IQ test proving that their IQ is below that of your average mental retard. They then go through a training program designed to make them even fucking dumber than what they were before – and the training is clearly effective. Absolute fucking fail!

Now come to tell us that the poverty in the Philippines is not the people’s choice. Tell us that the poverty is the politician’s fault. Come to look straight in my eyes and tell me:filipino are intelligent!

    few weeks ago I watched a documentary on radio-canada that was talking about the injustice of modern Canadian immigration policies on filipino temporary workers coming here for a limited time contract. They were complaining on how exploited they are and blablabla… Now wait a second.. Do they mean we should open our doors wide opened to those incompetent primitive monkeys to come to sponsor all their family and shitting tones of babies? One filipino in a room is no big deal but add a bunch of them there and look at the fucking mess they will do. I don’t want to be there to see it. You want to destabilize a country? Send them a tone of filipinos and wait.

      Honestly man, I gotta disagree with you on this one. First I try REALLY hard not to take the racist slant on all this. Prolly b/c I grew up in the SE USA where 3/4th of my fellow white people didn’t know how to refer to a black person w/o using the word nigger.

      There’s a bit of an argument to be made that the deficiencies of the people of the Philippines has a genetic component because of either direct or indirect selective breeding that occurred while the country was a colony of (pick your invader). Those that thought for themselves, stood up for themselves, etc were killed off so only the dumb asses bred.

      Generally for me racism is just too “easy” of a way out. One, it makes for significantly less creative trash-talking, heh. Two, it means nothing can be done about the problem.

      But even race and genetics doe have something to do w/ the problems here, it would only account for a very small part of why things are so wonky here.

      To me, in the 9 years I’ve been here, it’s all about cultural problems which have dick to do with genetics. It’s the crab mentality. It’s the laziness of thinking things suck and nothing can be done about it.

      Of the Filipino’s I know that live/work abroad a VERY high percentage of them adjust to the culture they’re in and lose most of the retardness of the culture here. That’s a GOOD THING. Sink or swim of course b/c they wouldn’t make any money if they kept doing things in another country the way they’re done here.

      What blows my mind is that more often than not they FAIL to bring this knowledge back with them when they come home. It’s like they check everything they learned into a balkibayan box and forget to get it from the baggage claim.

    I learn something new every day. In my own self-defense I am learning Tagalog so that I have some idea what’s going on in my own home in the US!They ignore emails unless the emails are from other Filipinos. When confronted they make up some bullshit quick answer that often has very little to do with the original question!
