Filipinos Have No Regard For…

When I am out and about in public, I tend to be constantly observant and very aware of everything around me (unlike native Filipinos). My mind is always churning and processing what my eyes take in (unlike native Filipinos). I give way to people because it’s considerate and courteous, and makes daily life more pleasant for me and those around me.

Even at home, I make sure I live in harmony and respect my neighbor’s right to peace and quiet (a right that I don’t think they even realize they have). I make sure I know what the laws are, and I obey them, because unlike native Filipinos I believe laws are in place for the benefit and protection of everyone and it’s what makes a civilized society. It is my duty as a member of society to learn and know what the laws are, and obey them, because unlike native Filipinos, I don’t believe I am the exception to the law.

This is no small percentage by any means, it seems it is the unwritten rule of society in this not-so-civilized nation of utter complete imbeciles, I can say, based on daily observation, be it other people around me, or professionals and workers in businesses, it is extremely blatantly obvious that

  • other people around them
  • the law
  • general public safety
  • public sanitation
  • truth
  • dignity
  • honesty
  • fairness
  • order
  • peace and quiet
  • knowing anything at all about their religious beliefs other than “god is good”. Filipinos have no regard whatsoever for living as their god would want them to live which would be to have regard for all of the above!!!! They just think they can willfully and knowingly and blatantly lie, cheat, steal, and ignore the poor and hungry folks as a rule of daily life, then all they have to do is pop into the confessional and say they have not sinned because they’re too fucking stupid to remember what they did 10 minutes ago. The effect of faith in god is supposed to inspire you to obey him. But if there were a god, and if hell was real, they would be the very first idiots to have a one-way express ticket to hell because of their blatant hypocrisy. FILIPINOS DO NOT BELIEVE IN GOD, THEY ARE LIKE MOST CHRISTIANS AND BELIEVERS, THEY WEAR THEIR RELIGION ON THE OUTSIDE FOR EVERYONE TO SEE AND TAKE NOTICE, BUT MAKE NO EFFORT TO LET IT AFFECT THEM ON THE INSIDE. THEY LIE, CHEAT, STEAL, AND DEVALUE LIFE, THEN SAY “GOD BLESS” AND “GOD IS GOOD” AND WRITE “GIFT OF GOD” ON THEIR CARS TO MAKE THEMSELVES LOOK PURE AND CLEAN WHILE THEY GO THROUGH LIFE ACTING LIKE THEY ARE GOD’S GIFT TO THE WORLD, AND THE EXCEPTION TO LIVING AS THEIR GOD WOULD WANT THEM TO LIVE AND BEHAVE. THEY CLAIM SUCH FAITH IN GOD, AND GOD WILL PROVIDE, BUT THAT FAITH IS EMPTY WHEN THEY TRY TO CHEAT PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY BY MAKING UP LIES TO GET IT. THAT SHOWS A TOTAL LACK OF FAITH IN GOD. THEY DON’T EVEN ATTEMPT TO ALLOW GOD TO PROVIDE. BECAUSE IF THEY TRULY BELIEVED GOD WOULD PROVIDE, THEY WOULD HAVE NO MOTIVATION TO LIE, CHEAT, AND STEAL!!! HYPOCRITES!!
  • hy·poc·ri·sy

     [hi-pok-ruh-see]  noun, plural hy·poc·ri·sies.

1.a pretense of having a virtuous character, moral or religious beliefs or principles, etc., that one does not really possess.

    James 2:14-17, 26 NKJV

What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

It is just tradition to “believe in god”, and if you really believe in hell, and if you don’t want to make that your final destination, you better realize that TRADITION WILL NOT SAVE YOU!!! The Apostle Peter (technically the first “Pope”) clearly and concisely instructs and admonishes (admonish: to urge to a duty; remind: to admonish them about their obligations.) them about obedience and duty as believers:
    1 Peter Chapter 1
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

    15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
    18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently
    1 Peter Chapter 3
8 Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.
9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
    10 For,

    “Whoever would love life
    and see good days
must keep their tongue from evil
and their lips from deceitful speech.
    11 They must turn from evil and do good;
they must seek peace and pursue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their prayer,
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
13 Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?
14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”
15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.
17 For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
It is my observation that Filipinos (as well as the majority of christians) DO NOT KNOW ANY OF THIS, NOR DO THEY LISTEN TO THE BULLSHIT SPEWING FROM THE PREACHER’S MOUTH DURING MASS. They just believe if they show up and sit in the church pews and doze off for a nap, eat the body of christ and drink his blood, they have filled their obligations as a believer. They believe they don’t actually have to show their faith by living a faithful life of obedience to their god, they just have to go to church and dine on their savior’s flesh and blood now and then and that saves them so that they can leave church and continue their ignorance, discourtesy, lies, cheating, stealing and corruption. Idiots.

And your point is?… hahahaha. You nailed it! Now, do you know the reason why they are this way? First of all you are using a man-made concept, religion, specifically the teachings in the Bible, and applying them in a way that is not applied by the catholic church incorporated in the Pinas. Secondly, you are forgetting that Filipino Christianity is a thin veneer of Christianity laid over a very thick layer of animist beliefs (anting antings, onggus, dwendes in the trees etc). Thirdly they exist in a society that has a hierarchy based on a completely twisted concept of personal worth and value, including those with pale skin are good and trustworthy and those with dark skin ‘taga bukid’ (simpletons) and shifty. No doubt the friars and the Spanish had some hand in this.

The fourth reason is that the average IQ of the Filipino is 86, a full 10 points below that of the average American. So if you are a Filipino brought up in the USA, apart from the cultural differences you were exposed to you probably come from a smarter than average pair of parents who got the heck out of Dodge and no doubt passed on their genes and IQ to you.

In a nation of 100 million, an average IQ of 86 means there are say 50 million at 86 or thereabouts and 25 million higher, with 25 million lower, just for the sake of the argument. That is a lot of stupid people and a lot of even stupider people. Easily led and manipulated by the 25 million smarter ones, of whom 10 million at last count were out of the country as OFW! The odds of you falling foul of a dumb bugger are pretty high! Throw in religion, the opiate of the massa, and you are certain to be knocking your head against the nearest nipa hut in no time!

Very well stated. Being an atheist, I have studied the bible for many many years. And it is the absence of ignorance that told me to check this “word of god” out thoroughly before “just believing” simply because mommy and daddy said so. When I reached the age of REASON, and broke free from my parents forcing their delusions on me, I began an intense study of the bible, religion, and it’s origins.

Needless to say, after SEEKING TRUTH using a bit of intelligence, critical thinking, logic, and reason, I became an atheist. I sure as fuck didn’t want to live my life believing something that may not be true. I didn’t want some fucking lie and delusion to control my life and stop me from thinking. And religion STOPS YOU FROM THINKING AND USING YOUR BRAIN!! It even commands in the bible to NOT THINK, JUST BELIEVE OR GO TO HELL!! Right there alone I saw the cannonizer’s and authors of religion’s manipulation through fear.

It really doesn’t take much intelligence to clearly see the manipulation and control of the masses which is what we call religion.

Such gullible, stupid idiots. And that goes for anyone who believes that stupid shit. Not just Filos.

I completely agree with this response 100% and I can also admit that deep down inside I am either an atheist or agnostic. I never admit to it because I always get the “No-no” look on somebody’s face if I ever said it. So I just say “Christian” as a cover-up, which was the religion I was brought up to be when i was in diapers too. There is a lot of reason and logic in what you say FiloFail, and there is a reason why Science and Religion never gets along because due to the fact that religion completely contradicts every intelligent viewpoint and law of life that science has to offer. Just to make it clear, Religion was never evolved. The religious-based stories we hear today is the same story passed down from generation to generation originating from the primitive times. In other words, some dumb fuckin cavemen came up with the story of GOD, and some people today are dumb enough to still believe in that story. Heaven and Hell was theoretically said to be a place you visit after death. Logic tells me that you can only prove that these two made up plains exist is if you died, and been magically reborn to tell about it. That concept also goes for GOD too. I never died before and was able to tell the world of my experience, lol. Besides, those primitives from the past had no internet, no real source of entertainment, so what else do you think they did for a living? They made up stories of a magical guy who lives in the sky who has the power to observe over a billion people. That story won the Grammy award, and people were stupid enough to make a book about it, they call it “The Holy Bible.” I wish I can make up an awesome story that people will believe in for thousands of years….lol. Well enough said, I think I just converted some religious groups into an atheist/agnostic with that paragraph…hahahaha. Anyway, keep it up FiloFail, I’m lovin your articles on realism in Philippines.

St Augustine wrote way back in the 4th century (or thereabouts), that if good science contradicts the Bible, trust the good science. The Bible is all parable, allegory etc. So what happened? Well, as Monty Python famously said, “nobody expected the Spanish Inquisition”. Power hungry kiddie fiddlers, I mean priests, forgot this and went off the rails trying to make the parable match the reality.

Then we had the ‘enlightened age’ where science was proof of God’s omnipotence, a case of making a suit and hoping the person will fit the cloth. I must admit that after living there for a few years if passing a church I would join in the rest of the genuflectors in the crowded, stinking hot jeepney stuck in traffic blocked by brain dead trike and jeepney drivers doing their best to make everyone’s life miserable. It was simpler to go with the flow. I used to tell the people coming to my gate trying to solicit money for their priest’s vacation to Boracay I was a Pagan. They would cross themselves. I said I wonder if your God is more powerful than my Gods, do you think they should fight? Mighty Odin will only fight your God if your second God Jesus defeats Thor, which I think is fair, don’t you? You can imagine the looks and the amount of genuflecting!

When I discussed religion with intelligent people they would get to that point where they realised your logic and fact made their faith and theology look pretty stupid. Few progressed after this point and fewer ever spoke to me again, hahahah. One place I worked had a kiddie fiddler come in and drench everything in water he had mumbled over. There was no need for this, the place was soaking already as the Fil employees were wetting themselves because this was the Head Kiddie Fiddler. Four of us expat employees took umbrage at the charade and changed our screen savers to the number 666 bouncing all over the screen and went out for smoke. We had contemplated making a magic ring of washing powder around our work stations to ward off the evil spirits as the Quack Doctor Hilot relative of one of the managers suggested but we felt that would be against OH&S, hahahah.

Best advice is to laugh and smile and nod and then do your own thing, just like they do.

Dude I totally love this article. As for the religion part, I completely feel you on that segment. The way how you expressed it is definitely true in all perspective, unless it’s a dumb filipino who is always blind to truth that is. I can definitely extend that thought you just mentioned about their faith in GOD to any Filipino at such an extreme extent that they will either hate GOD, or themselves. I actually convinced a filipino to hate himself after having a heart-to-heart discussion on his views of GOD just by asking him a series of questions. I wont say all of it, because some psycho-religious filipino wanna-be prospect of GOD may get really offended, but it anyway, it starts off a little bit like this:
    Me: Do you love GOD?
    FI (Filipino Idiot): Yes
Me: Did people make people, or did GOD make people?
    FI: GOD made people.
Me: Do you believe that GOD makes mistakes?
    FI: No
Me: So you are also saying GOD did not make any mistakes in making Filipinos, right?
    FI: yes
Me: Then why is it that many Filipinos are trying to change themselves, you know? The way GOD made them. Trying to whiten themselves, many sex change operations, that only shows many Filipinos thinks GOD made a mistake of their natural born existence. Can you explain that?
FI: *blank* (At this point he started crying a little, and he had no answer for me as I explained to him about the many sex-changed ladyboys and skin-whitened Filipinos I come across everyday.)

I know you all see it daily too, I wonder if i can make another filipino cry by asking him/her the same series of questions. Hahahaha…. And yes, he actually did cry.

It is mind boggling how when it come to their “Faith” there the biggest bunch of hypocrites on this planet.

Over the years i have traveled around this shithole i have meet may filipinas that are not married and have kids. On too many occasions when i mentioned i have a grown daughter, they would ask, “does she go to school” i would say no, then they ask “Is she living with you” again I would say no, I would tell them she (at the time) was living with her Bf. The first fucking thing that would come out of there mouths “Ohh we wouldn’t allow that here in PH”. I would ask them, “so your telling me it’s not ok to live with your BF and not have kids, but it’s ok to not live with your BF and bang out kids.

Another time, i met this filipina in her mid 40’s and we dated for awhile. Now mind you she was separated (not legally) from her flip husband, and i was just recently seperated from my flip wife. Over the years before we meet she meet on line several foreign men that was single, and she fucked all of them. Over a period of 4 mos she was getting guilty of dating me because i wasn’t divorced, even though we never had sex. I asked her, so it’s ok to go and fuck 3, 4 foreigners that were single, but your still legally married, but you feel guilty dating a guy that is not divorced.

    What a fucked up society.

I actually make up my own superstitions and Catholic religious beliefs (i’m a true Catholic by the way, not like the Failures in this country, and actually opened up the Bible, did research and of course scientifically disproved some things.. Not getting into the details right now).

So yea, i make up my own shitty beliefs and lies just to entertain myself with the mostly retarded population here… The reason i do this? Just to see if they believe me, and of course they always do… Lmao you should see their faces… Anyway i think i’ll take video when i do this when speaking to the population here in lovely Metro Manila. The average IQ in Pinas i think is 86…. My IQ is 119… I feel like i’m in a special ed class or preschool as soon as i walk outside my door..

Jesus needs to save this country, not from poverty, but from stupidity, laziness, and at times just plain “i don’t give a fuck” mentality.
